Living with the autoimmune disorder Crohn’s Disease since he was 9 years old, Ben has embarked on cyclical healing journey after journey through creative writing and self-acceptance and exploration by serving in environments as disparate as the American Museum of Natural History, the Kripalu Yoga and Retreat Center in Massachussetts, Esalen Institute in Big Sur, the Pardes Institute in Jerusalem, Rowe Camp and Conference Center, and FEGS Treatment Center for the Cognitively Disabled in Manhattan. He is a performing poet, published fiction writer, screenwriting mentor and life coach experienced in the study of Jungian theory, Transpersonal Psychology, Integral and Metamodern Philosophy, and Trauma Theory.
